Being Part of a Comunnity

Being part of a community is something special. You would think it is not really significant, but actually it really is.

Bayan community basically mean to be at home (I THINK haha). Like when i say at HOME, it really feels like you are home. You meet meet new people with different backgrounds and some similar to your own.

Also being in the Bayan community, it lets you experience new things. For example, I remember at the class retreat we had, we all had to go and meet everyone one by one. We also participated in activities where we answered questions about things we would not normally would tell stuff to other people.

It was WEIRD! i did not think i was going to open up to so many people, but i DID!! Just telling people about how i felt about church and other topics that were brought up was new to me. I feel like i have gotten closer to my peers after this experience.

So this is why i find being in a community so special. And i recommend others who are reading this to look into it and see for yourself how i feel about this.
